Baldy Rocks

Marginal early season conditions but skiable on N and NW facing slopes above 1800 m. Snow depth between 50 and 80 cm. Snowpack contains a number of crusts and facets but is quite supportive except close to trees and rocks. Wind was transporting the 10 cm of new snow. South aspects are crusty and shallow. Many open water holes, sticks and stumps lower down. Better than no skiing at all! This report is from Sunday Nov. 24th. There is a bug in the app. It would not let me chose today as the report date.
