It was cold and windy at Bijoux. There was about 10 cm of new snow and a total of 40 cm of light powder from recent storms. Wind has affected exposed open areas (even below treeline), filling in old tracks and forming wind drifts. We dug a quick pit and didn't find much other than a thin crust 40 cm deep and an old decomposing crust 125 cm deep, with no notable test results. No avalanches, whumpfs, or cracking, but we didn't get good views of avalanche terrain. Biggest stuck of the day was in the parking lot...
