Quick Observation
About 15-20cms of recent snow resting on the old layers seems to be slowly bonding. Found a few small wind/storm slabs on small, convex features that we were able to get to release, however these never propagated beyond sluff, and travelled at most 2 or 3 meters (on a 40° slope). The January crust was fairly thin and sometimes unsupportive below 1800m, but was more solid higher up. Take care on wind loaded convexities and enjoy the excellent snow!
