Cirque Forepeak

Some pretty good ski quality on Cirque Forepeak today. Dust on crust, improving as we lost elevation. Some tricky skinning in spots with the surface snow bonding poorly to the disaster of crust, windblasted concrete and facets below it. Rocks in spots up high - had to be careful to not hit anything. Light winds, -19c start, -15c at the summit and -9c at the car. No instabilities noted where we traveled but could assume a loose dry problem elsewhere with more snow and steeper slopes. The bond of the new snow was poor. Broken clouds all day with winds building. Nicer than expected!
