Snowpack

Snowline was at approximately 4000ft on the south facing aspect I traveled up.  A consistent 60cm of dry snow was present at 4600'. A few crusts were present, visible in the pit photo. Clearings had an abundance of well-developed surface hoar and very small, weak near surface facets were found in the top ~20cm before progressing to harder rounds further down in the snowpack.
