Observed 3 wumpf throughout the day. Wumpf 1: ESE 44.32246,-115.27870 the entire pocket of terrain (rocky isolated ridge) wumpfed with no obvious cracking. Loud, energetic, we were on a wind effected slope which felt stiff and hallow. Wumpf 2: S 44.32379,-115.219154 isolated Wumpf 3: S near wumpf two lower down the ridge. Isolated Dug a W facing pit at 44.32985, -115.28851 and performed ECT: ECTN 10 at 20 cm depth - subtle. Top 20 cm Slab above was dense and consolidated 2-3 mm buried facets at 45 cm depth. Non-reactive Shovel shear at 80 cm depth. Difficult to pull, planar layer Wide spread wumpfing, difficult to interpret pit results, and variable skiing conditions made skiing on low angle south slopes feel exciting.
