Weather

Sunny, intermittent cloud cover, even a few snowflakes. Temperatures were above freezing when we arrived, lots of drainage along the sides of the road.

Snowpack

Less spatial variability than on Molas Pass. No rotten snow around rocks or other thin areas. Skied a South Eastern aspect with no sloughing, although we saw skier triggered sloughs in the upper snowpack on a North Eastern aspect that may have been steeper. New snow from a few days ago is about three to four inches thick where is remains on North East through North West aspects. Snow was frozen for about thirty centimeters, overlying wet rounded grain to the ground.
