Quick report
Our party toured into GoS and found very firm and stable P-hard windboard the full length of Main Gully, consolidated enough that we were unable to penetrate the basket or handle of a ski pole. There were small pockets of 1F-hard drifted snow under some vegetation features, but those did not propagate and were very isolated. The windboard was quite strong and appeared to bridge across and on top of the connecting snowpack. The alpine zone above the Gulf was wind-scoured down to the underlying rocks, ice, and vegetation. We had enjoyable skiing in the Gulf and out the ski trail.
