Quick report

Good skiing above 7400 on 2 plus inches of new snow on a crust... recent solar induced cornice fall and wind slab avalanches beneath cornice just large enough to injure and bury a person likely happened towards end of the stormTuesday.

No cracks or collapses,

Clear and Warm with full Sun, mostly Light SW wind with gusts into the moderate range.

Snowpack

Pretty stable snowpack capped with new soft 1 finger powder on a rain crust and or crust combinations in the upper foot depending on solar influence/aspect .  One pit had moderate to hard ECT results 20cm below on small surface hoar. Facets and preserved stellars. Temps may cook this layer as the difference was only 1 degree C 30 cm below the surface.

3 solar induced Cornice falls and wind slab underneath D2&D1 NE on Lone Tree NNW aspect, above Poison Lake, East aspect and Council Mountain NE aspect.
