Departed road parking 1:30pm as conditions seemed to be clearing (widely intermittent flurries thereafter but visibility was good all tour). On the first north-facing lap climb, felt almost no wind until approaching ridge when it became moderate from the south (with wind-loading characteristics to match, per pics…couldn’t call what I intentionally triggered a 4-6” deep slide bc such a short distance, but may have been with larger slope). On the wind-loaded rollover, pole probes implied density changes 6” and then solidly 3’ down. Near end of 2nd climb (6pm-ish) noticed winds had shifted easterly. Skiing conditions were outstanding on both laps. While obstacles seem to have mostly been covered since prior days Powderhouse post, seeing some still poking through (log in pic) in combo w low density snow made me mindful of undulations and careful to try and keep my tips up and out whenever in doubt jic.
