Quick report

Quick obs from today. 3-4” of new snow above ~7000ft . Stayed below freezing while I was out and when I got back to the snowbowl lot ~3pm it was snowing. Light winds. Visibility was poor above 7500ft until early afternoon. The sun poked out a few times but not enough to noticeably affect solar aspects. There was small amount of sluffing on rollovers >35°. Skied S/SE aspects which had suncrust underneath the new snow but was still pleasant skiing conditions and any wind slabs on that aspect were stubborn. Did not dig a pit but snowpack seemed locked up underneath the new snow.
