Quick report
We were able to drive up to ~6000 ft (800 ft below summer TH) before helping another party get their car unstuck and deciding to park. We skinned up mostly south aspects to the peak. Below ~8500ish, the snow was mostly protected from the wind and there were a couple inches of light snow on top of a stout crust. Once above treeline, things were very wind scoured and we hiked from around 8800-9000 ft to the top. We then hiked down a ways and skied off the east side, which had some pockets of wind loaded snow and other scoured areas. We did one more short skin up a north aspect and followed the skin track back to the car. By that time (4-5 pm), the lower elevation snow was out of the sun and got pretty crusty.
