Beautiful day in the mountains. Light wind, mild temps, and clear skies.
Snowpack
My primary objective today was to look for wind loading distribution from the east winds and to re visit the previously reactive crust/facet combination now buried 2-3 feet down. Upper elevation is highly wind affected with south through east aspects stripped. North and west aspects have a stout wind slab. It is stubborn, unreactive, and unlikely to avalanche, but if triggered, it would be a very unpleasant ride.
The crust/facet combination is still present but not reactive. I do not anticipate further issues on this layer.

Observed these natural avalanches, likely running early this week. These avalanches were not there Monday so likely ran either Tuesday or Wednesday.
