Widespread melt freeze crust still present at varying depths across the pass. On a west aspect we still saw propagation in our snowpit at 9 taps from the wrist. ECTP9 Clean fast break below the stout crust that is down 30cms or so. We're not sure what is driving the variability in pit results on this layer, but it kept us off steep slopes.
