Skinned up the ridge between the cross and Avy bowl, skiied upper Crystal Glades and the west ridge of Avy peak

No signs of instability, but that was expected. More wind loading than we anticipated, especially in sheltered areas where it deposited snow in small valleys. There was a melt freeze crust and wind crust on SW/S/SE aspects, which sucked for skiing but didn’t pose any avy risk. South slopes heated up considerably throughout the day, and conditions degraded a little quicker than expected.
