Quick report
No obvious red flags today, which makes it all the more hard to discern what is really going on in the snowpack right now. Light wind effect observed on S/SW/W slopes with wind loading occurring on N/NE aspects. We dug a pit @8950' on a NE aspect with some really interesting results: CT 3 @12cm CT 6 RP @12cm CT 11 SP @30cm CT 23 SC @70cm ECTP SC 22 @30cm ECTP SC 26 @70cm (if you watch the video it looks like it steps down all the way into the weak layer of basal facets as well) PST end 45/100 @70cm Extra tap on the CT so my bad there (apparently I forgot how to count today). Our first compression test also yielded a CTV result during isolation so the video shows the second test.
