Quick report
No avalanches observed, but plenty of new snow coming in. Still not enough snow to ski the Bullion Basin Trail out. Snow above 5500ft was still coming in right side up when we left, but the dry loose snow was not binding to the existing crust. You could very easily scrap off all the dry snow from the crust in a clean line, making me worried for when the heavier wet snow comes and piles on top.

Snowpack
The trail to bullion basin is not in. Below 5200ft there was not enough snow to cover the rocks, and there were plenty of hidden rocks higher up just waiting to damage your skis as well as a couple of trees across the trail before you hit the basin. Skinning up to platinum peak would be very tough from the lower entrance as there just wasn't enough snow in the trees. I will be spending my week fixing my favorite skis as a result. At the basin and above, the snow was much deeper, but there were still plenty of holes.
