Early season conditions. Snow was dry and powdery below the snow lake divide, with a faint crust 5-8 inches down. On south side of Wright Mountain, snow conditions got considerably worse, mix of thick crust on sun affected areas to heavy/wet snow in shaded. Some half frozen roller balls and cliff fall debris from day before. The north side of wright did not provide relief, hot pow over a crust 2-4 inches down. Creeks, rocks, and trees were not always well covered.
