Quick report
Day tour White Pass ski area adjacent in the Miriam Lake Drainage Hogback Zone. Kept it to lower angle and treed slopes given the sleeping dragon conditions. No whoomps or cracking observed. Dry loose from likely earlier in the week evident on steeper slopes up higher off the ridge. Dug a hasty profile pit ~6300' N-NW to about 1 meter to observe how recent snow was bonded to the crust. Snow appeared generally rightside up above the crust(s) and did not observe a faceted layer. Conditions were warm on solar slopes, lots of sticky snow and glopping while skinning back out but the high cloud layer knocked it back somewhat. We did not observe any rollers or wet avy activity on solar slopes before ~1pm when we entered back into the resort.
