While touring we saw several old large wind slabs and cornice failures near ridges. In steep windloaded terrain we triggered a few small (D 0.5-1) wind slabs approx 10ft by 10ft and 3-6in deep. We also took the time to dig into the snow and test the weak layers. ECTX on the facets which were 110cm down from the surface and did a deep tap test which failed on that layer at 15 taps in. HS was 210cm in this area. We also cut a large cornice (sofa sized) onto avalanche terrain that did not produce any additional avalanches
