We toured up Incline Peak starting at around 6am cutting trail the whole way. On our ascent we saw wind affected snow everywhere except the sheltered areas in the North Glades. The new snow had formed a wind crust in most exposed areas. We cut a track along the far, skier's left edge of the north east bowl looking for signs of instability in the wind slabs that had clearly formed on rollovers and other exposed pockets. Along the convexities above the edge of the bowl we saw plenty of shooting cracks and collapsing on the wind slabs. Further up, we took a look at the chute to the skier's left of the rock formation in the middle of the bowl. We also saw shoot cracks and collapsing of the windslab along the top of chute. We were not able to fully release a wind slab in either area, but they were both clearly unstable. We skied a line along the skier's right edge of the northeast bowl avoiding any areas that were wind affected or underneath steeper wind affected zones. We found what looked to be the debris of a D1 sized avalanche that had occurred recently (pinned location). Given the light cover of snow compared to other areas we covered and the lack of any tracks, would think this was natural and occurred overnight off of the steeper rock face above.

Avalanche
We found what looked to be the debris of a D1 sized avalanche that had occurred recently (pinned location). Given the light cover of snow compared to other areas we covered and the lack of any tracks, would think this was natural and occurred overnight off of the steeper rock face above.
