Quick report
We traveled from Echo Lake snopark to Talking Mountain and then up to Flagpole - Hollywood. No instabilities noted while touring and skiing Talking, other than small reactive wind slabs on approach ridge from NE winds yesterday. Before skiing Flagpole we noticed one small natural wet release across the bowl. Descending the East bowl of Flagpole at 10:45 we triggered multiple wet slide point releases that grew into one ~100ft in width and ran for 400-500 vertical feet. We skied one at a time and my partner triggered the first bit of slough which grew from there. They were able to ski to safety with ease. The slides were relatively slow moving for the steepness of the terrain. During this same time we saw 1-2 more natural releases in the same area. With the visibility of the slide and in direct view of hwy 50 weekend traffic, my partner decided to let the sheriff know that there was no cause for concern if it were to be reported. They provided us with an aerial photo later via text.
