Quick report
Arrived to the the saddle above the Northeast Bowl around noon. The snow above treeline was thick but strong wind kept it from warming, and we didn't observe any instabilities or signs of wind slab. As we descended below treeline, the snow quickly warmed up and became wet & heavy. Throughout the descent, our group triggered about a dozen small D1 avalanches. All were point-release, wet loose avalanches that did not propagate nor break above the skiers. Several releases had enough run-out to gain speed and catch our attention. Yesterday's new snow fell on a frozen surface and has not bounded to the old snowpack. This led to very touchy conditions, especially at the lower elevations. Numerous D1 wet loose slides triggered

Started with a cool but sunny morning, and quickly warmed up as the sun got higher. Still below treeline but windy with high speed gusts at the summit. Winds increased and clouds moved in around 1:30pm.
