HS 18"; At the Windy Point test slope the deepest snowpack I could find on a North aspect was 23" consisting entirely of fist depth hoar with a melt-freeze crust in the middle of the snowpack. GRIM is the expression with no snowpack on the east aspects in North Canyon. Avalanche hazard NONE. The Lake City ski hill has not yet opened.
