Evaro Bowl
Quick report
Solar aspects got baked today... multiple wet loose point releases observed on S faces ~7400-7600'... made for decent skiing on low angle slopes. All SH formed overnight was burned off Shaded aspects showed clear buried weak layers (both ~1cm SH layers, looked like) at 37cm and 57cm... test results were ECTN-23 at 37cm and ECTN-27 at 57cm... PST-25/100-END at 37cm and PST-30/100-END at 57cm. Grom score of 5/9, giving it fair stability. That said, this pit was dug in a sheltered non-wind-slabbed location. I would not ski any sizable/continuous harder wind affected areas on NW-NE aspects... though softer snow in wind-sheltered tree areas could be alright. Observed several tracks dropping off the N face of Point 6 with no releases observed
