We found plenty of wind texture near ridgeline and windslabs up to 40cm thick and 1F hard. Many handshears showed slabs roughly 1 foot thick failing on large graupel. With plenty of red flags like triggered avalanches, cracking and collapsing, we did not dig deeper to search for buried surface hoar. While we didn't find the lightest of fresh powder, there is plenty of high quality riding in sheltered areas. Our notable collapse was at 7400' E on a 30' by 20' panel of 30 degree terrain. It included a shooting crack roughly 30' long that connected past a stand of trees into a supported panel of 35 degree terrain that did not avalanche (see photo).

The day ended with another round of graupel. Winds stayed light out of the NE.
Snowpack
F+ storm slabs below treeline and F+ up to 1F hard windslabs near treeline. Both were reactive on test slopes and easy reminders not to step out into avalanche terrain.
Avalanche
Intentionally triggered 2 D1 storm slabs with crowns 20-30cm thick. They were both on NE slopes around 6300'. (see photos)
