ECTN 27 at 40 CM depth. Wind slab of various thicknesses between 5-10 cm found throughout the region but wind slab seemed to be most present on W and NW aspects. Vary supportable surface layers are found on N aspects, The surface was not necessarily soft and the surface layer was not stiffened or consolidated into a slab. I was concerned about a large, lingering wind pocket, though I did not find one. Did a poor job at taking photos. I will do better for the next submission.
