Quick report
Our column collapsed dramatically at CT 24 in the fist hard snow below density change, but not in a linear fashion or on any particular grain structure. Dramatic enough for us to change our plans feeling with so much wind effect and varied snow depth we could easily cut thru this density layer and have a collapse. Snow below this to the bottom of our pit seems to be gaining strength and cohesion. Little wind effect at the parking lot/lower elevations. All sorts of wind above 7k ft. Seemingly from multiple directions since Sunday.

Very nice sunny day in the mountains. Little to no wind, but signs of lots of alpine wind the last few days. Snow has settled since Sunday's precipitation, but some is still available for transport
Snowpack
We did 2 quick hand pits, and one CT today. Hand Sheer found that in the wind deposited and new snow since the warm up there was some round snow structure that was easy to pull, and it was easy to pull a block off the bottom of the 5cm/1.9" density change layer. CT Results CT13 on some hard to identify change in the soft wind deposited snow CT24 Below the density change in snow, dramatically collapsing all the way off the column. North aspect, 34 degrees. Pit Depth was 90cm. From the Surface Down Ward. 20cm/7.8" fist hard snow, 4 cm 4 finger hard snow, 10cm fist hard snow, increasing in hardness down to the 90cm mark.
