Snowpack
Average snowdepth in wind-sheltered areas was around 130-160 centimeters. There was a thin temperature crust at the surface on terrain that shifted from due north. The top 10-15 cms of the snowpack was weakening, with near-surface facets present. There were still 2 distinct graupel layers at and near the 1/3 interface, but neither showed reaction in snowpack tests. The middle of the snowpack was strong and cohesive, ranging from 1F- P hard. The 12/18 crust was found 95centimeters/3 feet from the surface and sat above well developed, large faceted grains.
