Snow was getting wet on the south slopes today

Day started out cold -14c but warmed up when the sun came out and by noon the snow was getting wet on the southern slopes. We noticed there was surface hoar forming in open areas in the alpine and there was a sun crust places in the shade. Visibility was good, no signs of any avalanche activity.
