Quick report
Moderate rainshowers through much of the morning at pass-level, drying out entirely by 2pm. NWAC's forecasted sunbreaks were visible SE of the Pass, but never reached the Pass proper. Calm winds in the ski area. Ski-quality inbounds was a mixture of spring snow types, some sticky, some not. Untracked was soft, wet, and heavy.
Avalanche
Multiple slides D1-D2 visible in photos from the ski area. Character while flowing downslope appeared to be wet and heavy. Unclear if they initiated as loose-wet or as shallow slabs, could be some of both.
