Quick report
The shedding cycle has begun. We bailed on our plan for the north slope because we were too late and wet avalanches were already raining down. Ended up skiing on the north side of the divide and found well settled dry snow. Rollerballs and pinwheels were creeping around to shady slopes as tree bombs that were exposed to sun above shed. We also saw actively blowing snow on Chair and Hemlock Peaks.
Avalanche
Widespread wet loose avalanche activity with slides as large as D2. Plenty of rollerballs and pinwheels. There were multiple large crowns, at least 1 was from today and failed due to snow shedding from the cliffs above.
