Quick report
We saw fresh and old pinwheels on steeper slopes up to Kendall Peak. We decided to turn around when older wet loose avalanche debris covered the trail. We saw small and large chunks of snow debris that was covered in fresh snow. Weather forecast showed it had been snowing for the past few days and it was snowing while we were there. I’m adding this post because we saw many people heading up the trail and know the trail is heavily used by adventurers. Many people may not realize there is possible avalanche danger early in the season.
