3 inches of new snow on melt freeze crust.intermittent flurries with s1 snowfall around 1pm. Light winds and mostly obstructed skies. Boot penetration 8-10 inches and ski pen 3 inches. Very quick and qualitative hand pits revealed at least 2 pencil/ knife hard crusts with fist/4F layers intermixed.
