Quick report
Snow on almost all of the approach trail, couloirs are still nicely filled in. Mostly firm supportable crust in the am changing to ankle deep boot pen by early pm. Wet loose debris on almost all slopes and aspects but most of it looked fairly old. Lots of large cornices on N-NE-E aspects, witnessed one fall and trigger wet loose avy. Snow seemed otherwise stable on slopes we travelled on.
Avalanche
Witnessed a cornice fall trigger a D1 wet loose avalanche on E aspect at about 6600 ft underneath West Unicorn Peak. Wet loose debris observed on almost all other slopes but looked at least a few days old.
