Storm day with about a foot of new snow. Steep slopes sliding frequently on test slopes (and unintentionally triggered avalanche). We traveled conservatively avoiding any terrain with high consequence.
Avalanche
I triggered a small (D1) avalanche after skiing over a small convex slope approx 35 degrees; storm slab ~6-8 inches deep. Did get caught but not carried (small, low consequence slide ~ 30-40 ft).
