Every surface was either wind stiffened snow or scoured down to the rain crust. Wind slabs on leeward aspects were especially hard (1f+) but were stubborn to trigger. I was able to get small pieces of windslab to move on unsupported test slope features. We observed the debris from a very large avalanche that flowed down to about 5000’ in white river canyon. Judging by the debris, the avalanche was happened over 48hrs ago. We observed significant amounts of blowing snow all day.
