Gypsum ridge

Went hunting for snow in the trees at gypsum today hoping to find tasty leftovers from last weekend. Turns out the wind has pretty much hit everything including the snow in tighter trees surprisingly. Couple good turns we’re had but most turns were unremarkable. Around 1900m elevation you start punching through the crust that is below the 30cm of new snow making turns even more labored.
