Valentine’s Day Chowda Powda

Great day in 8812 bowl entering from the Christmas trees/Balu ramp. Lots of recent point releases off of rocks from the sun and one notable Na slab (possible sz 2.5/3) on the east side of Catamont. Notable sun crust starting to form on S/SW slopes depending on sun exposure. No signs of instability on the way up and down. It seems like the storm snow is not as reactive under skis now. Ski cut the smaller convex roll entering 8812 with no reactivity. FYI, No traffic on the proper 8812 bowl today 👀. Seemed like minimal traffic going up Ursus.
