Quick Observation
Went for a skin up the NRC Gully Highway with what seemed like as many people as were at Balu. We dug a pit at 2100 on WSW facing slope of about 30 degrees. Snow was heavy and appeared to be consolidating well. We had no result on an ICT. We had a slight sudden non-planar failure with no propagation in our ECT. This was at tap 18 about 30cms down on what I imagine was the sun crust below the storm snow. Great day out and the sun came out to play on the way down. The sun had some heat to it. It’ll be pretty crusty up there tomorrow.
