Santa Baby

Christmas couloir skied amazing today. Waist deep pow all the way down left both of us with snow beards that were arguably better than Santa’s. We noticed some small pockets of wind slab on the way up both in the fan and in the couloir, but not enough to make us turn back. There was was a consolidated slab ~10cm thick starting to form at the top but it was not yet reactive. Snow felt super stable on the way down with barely any sluff. Gettings are good out there.
