Mongolia Ridge

Went for a walk up to Mongolia ridge from resort and one run back to falling star. Evident thin crust from 1650 to 1800m (didn’t go higher so can’t observe above that). Surface Hoar 1-2mm on top of the crust. Huge hoar on trees which made for quite the viewing. Crust was easily punchable when skiing down. Soft underneath. Fingers crossed new snow bonds well to this crust.
