Rock Isle Glades

Cloudy day out, skinned up Sunshine then did a few short laps of low angle open trees above Rock Isle lake. Skiied well, about 5-10cm unconsolidated snow over a surprisingly supportive midpack. Dug a quick pit, HS 95cm (5-10cm surface snow over supportive 1F mid pack, 20cm of depth hoar at the bottom). Lots of whumpfing when breaking trail today, glad we were on mellow slopes.

CTM13 30cm down on buried surface hoar, SW aspect 2270m 16deg slope angle.
