Skied the first set of trees on the Tryst lake ridge. The other chutes had a complete lack of tracks but looked like they had slid somewhat recently with visible sharks poking out. There was a melt freeze crust up to about 1950m and above that about 10 cm of fresh powder on the surface that made for good ski conditions high up.
As expected 70 cm up from the ground is all facets. We had failure both on this layer and at around 35 cm from the surface on the December layer.
