Conditions were variable: At ridgetop around 2000m, it was super wind affected with a 30 cm hard slab on top of the bottomless facets. Around 1800m, we had an inch thick crust on the surface with a bit of fluff on top, sitting on a slab, again, on top of the bottomless facets. Saw multiple natural avalanches on all aspects up to size 2 at treeline and in the alpine most likely dating from 36 hours ago (a bit of fluff from after the rain event was on the debris). We were still able to find good riding in wind sheltered areas above the rain line which seemed to be around 1850 m in that area.
