Quick Observation

Wind hammered base with 1-3 cm of powder in various spots. No evidence of the skin track once you reach the opening at the end of the valley. Conditions were overall much better than expected given the warm weekend. We were expecting an ice crust but rather found a wind crust that was much more edge-able on the skin up and ski down. All in all a worthwhile tour given the changing conditions out there (though I would not do multiple laps out there) Purple knob looked completely nonskiable as the chinook winds have removed significant amount of snow since the previous week.
