Avalanche Information

We observed the avalanche from a distance and raced over, but the guy was okay. The large portion of the slide was further across, but a smaller portion almost pushed him into some trees. The crown at the top was at most 30cm, but some of the blocks were almost 1m thick. It didn’t appear to have stepped down. It seemed like a large wind deposit down below the crest of the slope. Sledder entered the slope from the side near the top and the propagation was immediate.
