Sunny cream cheese in k-country

Skied the Fist-Smutts col. Dug a quick put at tree line ~2300m SE facing. Got CT16 down 30cm, sudden collapse. Failed on the new snow interface. Tried to recreate results and got ECTN. Proceeded upwards and turned around just before the ridge, where it gets thin. Good skiing, cream cheese consistency. Tons of tracks back there.
