Vermillion Peak

Skied/climbed Vermillion Peak today. The current skin track nicely avoids most of the overhead. Some evidence of windslab formation as we gained the ridge crest had our eyes and ears open but nothing seemed to move. Crampons and axes were employed on the ridge. The main avalanche gully skied well despite being a bit wind-affected and heavy. Untracked powder was usually available. No signs of instability on descent.
