Freshies are Freshies

Headed to Otto lake at Hasler on the strength of 10 cm new snow, and were pleasantly surprised. Everything in the open was wind stripped and hard at all elevations but we were able to find really good snow in sheltered open trees and small hidden meadows. We didn't spend much time in the alpine as it snowed all day and visibility was poor.

Got several compression test results in Facets on top of the Feb 19 crust, as well as in Facets between the Feb 14 and Feb 19 crusts. Found the Depth Hoar down about 65 cm in a sheltered spot around 1500 m but no results on CT or ECT. Deep Tap test provided results on the 31st tap, but the layer was extremely well bonded.
